Critical Thinking Questions
1. The movie “Sound and Fury” tells the story of a family comprised of both Deaf
and hearing individuals. When faced with a technological advancement that
could restore their daughter’s hearing, the family must decide if they will take
advantage of the device and have their daughter grow up in the hearing world
or decline the procedure and instead raise their daughter as part of the robust

think others may consider this a setback and why are you proud of this aspect
of your life? (For example, maybe you broke your arm and your art teacher
thought it would impair your ability to finish an assignment, however you
learned to draw with your other hand instead and this brought you a great
sense of accomplishment.)
- My mother has 4 kids: Me, my 2 brothers and my sister. It seems to be a big
family so everybody in my hometown would think that having a lot of kids will
