3 huespedes:
- Definitivo: Echinococcus granulosus adulto habita el intestino delgado de
los hospederos definitivos: perros domésticos (Canis lupus familiaris).
Los huevos de estos cestodos son eliminados en heces fecales de estos animales
carnívoros y son la forma infectante para hospederos intermediarios (mamíferos
herbívoros u omnívoros) y el humano (hospedero accidental)
- Huésped intermediario: mamiferos herviboros y omnívoros.
- Huésped accidental: el hombre, come verduras, frutas, directo de la huetra que están
contaminadas, agua , etc.tambien se contagia por contacto con el pelaje de los
amínales.

- Hallazgo imagenologico: incidentaloma hepático quístico.
- Ppal signo: hepatomegalia indolora, irregular.
