Aim
Cloud computing has evolved to be one of the most important and secure technology for data
storage. However, just having a good architecture of cloud computing only does not guarantee
the best security for the data. Other data management processes are required to heighten the
security. The main aim of this project is to device a scheme for secure data management in the
cloud center.
Background, motivation and Relevance
Background
Data security has been one of the most critical point as the world continues to benefit from
different technological innovations. A stringent of approaches has been used to enhance data
protection to meet specific needs as per the organizations. Cloud computing is one of those
methods which has brought numerous advantages on data protection. Part of architecture of the
cloud computing is cloud data centers. The cloud data centers in this case refer to a data storage
which is located in a remote place from an organization (Wen, 2019). The cloud data centers are
modeled in line with the requirements of a particular organization. Requirements in this case
refer to the data privacy levels required, the amount of control desired, transparency issues as
well as the cost concerns. These features have led to significant growth of cloud centers. For
instance, Ranger (2018) predicted that by 2021 95 percent of the total world data traffic will be
channeled through cloud data centers for secure storage. These changes clearly show that cloud
data centers are taking over the traditional setting of data centers.
