- The law should be respected

by the Shari’ah law
- Muslims support the UK law despite it not being the Shari’ah law,
however there are some laws that they disagree with
- Shari’ah punishments fit the seriousness of the crime
- Severe crimes that are prohibited in the Qur’an such as murder are given
severe punishments however the most severe punishments are not used
in Britain
- Shari’ah punishments are meant to be severe enough so that the
offender does not re-offend.
