 From CA 2006 coming into force, company needs to be set up under 2006 act. In
2019 – 25% of private companies in existence were not formed under CA 2006 but
under CA 1985. CA 1985 has been repeal and CA 2006 applies to all private
companies whenever they were set up. But CA 1985 differs from CA 2006 especially
constitutional document for such companies.
 Articles of association – Table A articles which could be adopted unamended or with
amendments as with model articles. Existing companies using Table A were not
required to change their articles when the law changed. Table A:
