Dwangstoornissen: in vorige versie van de DSM waren ze onderdeel van angststoornissen: mensen
hebben angst dat hen iets zal overkomen als ze bepaalde handelingen niet doen. In hoofdzaak
angstgevoelens controleren
Drangstoornissen: onweerstaanbare drang om handelingen uit te voeren die (tijdelijk) lustgevoelens
bevredigen ook al weet je dat het negatieve gevolgen heeft. Bv. pyromanie (brandstichting). In
hoofdzaak lustgevoelens bevredigen.
2 soorten drangstoornis
- Impulsbeheersingsstoornissen
- Seksuele drangstoornissen
Impulsbeheersingsstoornissen
- Pyromanie (brandstichten)
- Kleptomanie (stelen)
- Pathologisch gokken (staat nu in DSM5 onder verslavingen)
- Pathologisch liegen
- Automutilatie (in bepaalde vorm) jezelf pijn doen op verschillende manieren. Vaak doe je
automutilatie om je te ontspannen.
- Agressie en woede-uitbarstingen (in bepaalde vorm) bv. “de periodiek explosieve stoornis”
- Trichotillomanie haar uittrekken
- Gameverslaving
Seksuele drangstoornissen of parafilieën
Een onderscheid gemaakt tussen hands-on (met lichamelijk contact tussen pleger en slachtoffer) en
hands-off (zonder dat contact). Hands-off:
- Exhibitionisme mannen die hun geslacht toont
- Voyeurisme kijken naar mensen die zich uitkleden of seks hebben
- Fetisjisme seksuele connotatie maken van iets. Bv voeten
Hands-on:
- Frotteurisme tegen u leunen/wrijven
- Pedofilie (nuance: pedoseksueel) fantasie voor seks of contact met kinderen. Heel veel
variaties op. Pedoseksueel pleegt effectief feiten
- Zoöfilie seks met dieren
