HC refractie: eikonometrieEikonometrie -> meten van het verschil in beeldgrootte tussen het linker en rechter oog.
Aniseikonie -> niet het zelfde beeld.
Symptonen aniseikonie:
- Anastope klachten (lastig te herkennen)
- Hoofdpijn, migraine, oogpijn, misselijk
- concentratiezwakte, vermoeidheidsklachten
- fotofobie, tranende ogen
Zelden klachten over :
- Ruimtelijke vertekening
- Distorsie
Anisometropie -> beeldgrootte verschil door sterkteverschil (bril) van beide ogen:
- Brilsterkteverschil
- Scheef astigmatisme (cilinder staat op een andere as bij het andere oog)
- Afakie (cataract operatie zonder terugplaatsing van een nieuwe lens)
- Pseudifakie (nieuwe lens in het oog na een cataractoperatie met een hoge sterkte terwijl
het andere oog nog niet is geopereerd, dus daar nog geen sterkte in zit)
Berekening:
Nn = 1 / (1- a^ x T’) (^ is driehoek)
Nn = vergroting brillenglas
A = hoornvliesafstand + gullstrand (1,5 mm)
T’= topsterkte brilglas
Maar kan ook:
Nn = a^ x T’
Aniseikonischglas: glas zonder sterkte maar met dikte waardoor het beeldgrootte verschil
afneemt. Dit voeg je toe bij het glas met de laagste sterkte.
Met contactlenzen is het grootte verschil vaak helemaal opgelost, betere oplossing.
Als je een groot sterkte verschil hebt zijn er vaak klachten zodra er een bi of multifocale bril
wordt gedragen. Dit komt door het verschil in prismatische werking.
Oplossing: een hoogtecompensatie prisma plaatsen
Emmetropisatie: het groeien van de oogkas als kind.
Eenzijdige asmyopie: de groei is bij een oog niet of later gestopt.
Hierbij helpen contactlenzen niet.
Oplossing: een bril want die verkleint door de grotere minsterkte (dus geen aseikonisch glas
nodig)
