All individuals are entitled to certain basic rights under any circumstances. To violate
the most basic human rights, on the other hand, is to deny individuals their
fundamental moral entitlements, is to treat them as if they are less than human.
Examples of violation of human rights are typically called "crimes against humanity".

In my opinion, the most brutal examples of the violation of human rights are the ones
regarding children. Nowadays 246 million children, one every six children aged 5 to
17, are involved in child labour, more than 300,000 children under 18 are currently
being exploited in armed conflicts worldwide and 40 million children below the age of
15 suffer from abuse. This is horrible! Children should not spend their time working in
fields, in factories, down mines or as servants. Instead of doing this, they should go
to school, have an education, enjoying their childhood, and, the most important thing,
being free.
