LichaamsTemperatuur beïnvloedenDe lichaamstemperatuur bij gezonde mensen is normaal gesproken hoger dan de
omgevingstemperatuur. De lichaamstemperatuur varieert tussen de 36,5 en 37,5
graden Celsius. Een temperatuur van 37 graden Celsius werd gezien als de
standaard gemiddelde lichaamstemperatuur. Uit onderzoek is gebleken dat deze
gemiddelde lichaamstemperatuur inmiddels is teruggelopen naar 36,7 graden
Celsius. Om die lichaamstemperatuur stabiel te houden, spelen twee factoren een
rol:
● De warmte die het lichaam produceert, moet gelijk zijn aan de warmte die het
lichaam afgeeft. Het lichaam produceert warmte door een proces van
stofwisseling in de hersenen, de lever en de spieren.
● Het lichaam moet in staat zijn om de warmte die het produceert, over het hele
lichaam te verdelen. Daarin speelt de bloedsomloop een grote rol.
