Hoe wordt deze handeling uitgevoerd ?
1. Pas handhygiëne toe.
2. Maak een schoon werkveld en zet daarop de benodigdheden binnen
handbereik.

10. Controleer de fixatie van de katheter. Bij een man is de katheter op de buik
gefixeerd, bij een vrouw op het dijbeen. Zorg dat de katheter en de afvoerslang
nergens kunnen knikken.
11. Controleer of de urineopvangzak onder het niveau van de blaas hangt en de
grond of voeten van de zorgverleners niet raakt.
