The NSPCC's mission is to put an end to child cruelty. Our vision is of a society in which all
children are loved, valued, and capable of reaching their full potential.
“We can put an end to child abuse and neglect if we work together. We will get closer to
that goal with the help of our staff, volunteers, supporters, and partners, as well as our 100
years of experience.”
Sector
NSPCC is a third-sector organisation as it is a non-for-profit meaning the organisation does
not give service for any kind of profit.
Scope
The NSPCC Project's Scope Create a plan that allows the NSPCC to take a "quantum leap" in
its corporate involvement, as well as an increase in the value obtained from and delivered to
partners. Create and manage an internal change process to improve decision-making and
delivery on the company partnerships agenda.
Size
The NSPCC works in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and the Channel Islands.
The NSPCC is the only UK charity with lawful authority under the Children Act 1989, enabling
it to apply for care and supervision orders for abused kids. The organisation has 15,000
20,000 active volunteers at the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children
(NSPCC) have to work to provide major support to children in need.
Success
The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children was formed by Benjamin
Waugh in 1884 as the London Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (London
SPCC). In 1889, Parliament passed the first-ever UK law to protect children from abuse and
neglect, following five years of campaigning by the London SPCC.
From 2021 the organisation has been focusing on three areas (everyone plays their part to
prevent child abuse, every child is safe online, children feel safe, listened to, and supported)
in which they hope to have an impact on children over the next ten years. NSPCC prioritises
these in order to make the greatest progress toward the overall goal of ending child abuse
and neglect.
Each of the impact goals contributes something unique. These goals will help to make
significant and necessary changes for children on their own. They will complement each
other and have a significant impact on the lives of children.
In conclusion, as from the information discussed above, both businesses are extremely
successful at what they do. Adidas is clearly designed for the active, trendy, and comfortable
lifestyles of both teenagers and adults. Adidas provides excellent customer satisfaction. The
sports shoe industry is highly competitive, with many major companies actively producing
new shoes that meet consumer expectations. Adidas is also very vigilant and is constantly
working to improve its products and satisfy its customers. The NSPCC works to assist people
in need. They understand that their money is going to a good cause and will benefit those
who need it the most.
