Summary Acting
Modern acting tends toward the behavioral, meaning actors try to appear completely natural — "behaving" instead of "acting." But many 1900s actors did the same thing. There were probably more actors putting on an act, trying to change the way they walked, talked, stood, sat, and inhabited a character. Nowadays, Hollywood actors tend to mold their characters to themselves rather than squeeze themselves into a character, and that's also what casting agents tend to do. But — there are still plenty of actors who like to do it the "old-fashioned" way. According to Shah (2018), acting now is far more nuanced than it was. It became a lot more physical and about the actor's embodiment in a role. Keaton, Chaplin, and Astaire paved the way for this. Modern acting leaves far less to the audience's imagination, although the filmmaking (special effects) can do this part. Through the analysis of the 20th century, it is clear that a big gap between the actors and actresses of the previous decade has had an evolution. For instance, the actors of the last decade had Mr bean, who had an approach to how they created their content. Still, through the analysis of the recent movies and where the actors portray the scenes by trying to build their own contents through social media, one of the greatest actors of all time is Jack Nicholson. Due to his reputable career and has won many awards under his name due to his contribution to acting. Once one of Hollywood's brightest stars, Kevin Costner is now the lowest-rated actor. White-bread blandness seemed to be a particular enchantment for audiences; instead of being unappealing.
