Lord of the Flies
Here is my fully detailed portfolio of the book Lord of the Flies. Including the writer's history and an extra assignment. I had an 8 for this portfolio.
, Introduction
This portfolio consists of several parts. I’ve listed those parts in the table of contents.
I started this portfolio with information about the writer: William Golding. It’s important
to know his background before you read this book, because he has used his
experiences as inspiration. Then I wrote a part about the historical context. You also
see parts from the British history coming back in the book. I have also arranged the
references that come back in the story under the section ‘References’.
Under the ‘Notes’ section, I’ve placed all of my separate notes, for example the
PowerPoints we’ve seen in class and the Mind Map we were supposed to make.
After that I worked out all of the keyscenes and assignments per chapter. Under the
section ‘Poem Analysis’ I compared a poem about children in the dark with the book
‘The Lord of the Flies’. The last thing I did, was writing my self-evaluation.
I hope you like my portfolio!
