Sarah's (8 years old) murder in 2000 prompted the child sex offender disclosure scheme. Sarah was abducted and killed by a paedophile who had an existing conviction. Wanted a change of law, it was backed by the News of the World newspaper. Launched a petition supporting. Vigilante groups used name and shame tactics to get at paedophiles. Sarah's parents pushed the campaign at many events and conferences that lid to further publication of the campaign. Law piloted in 2008 and in 2010 law went to most of the country. The campaign was successful as there was a law change. Smoking Ban Campaign - CORRECT ANSWER-British Lung foundation charity started the campaign. Celebrities supported.
