Oregon Tattoo Exam 2023/2024 EPA Environmental Protection Agency FDA Food and Drug Administration Field of Practice Field of body modification. Does the sink in the restroom count for unrestricted access to a sink with hot and cold running water on facility premises? No, the sink must be separate from the restroom. Can you dispose of waste related to a service in the lobby or waiting area? No, service related waste must be disposed of in the service related area. What is the minimum number of gloves to be used during a procedure? 10 gloves which equals 5 pairs What must be done for each of the following as well as in between? -Set-up of instruments and skin prep -During the procedure -During post procedure tear down -During cleaning/ disinfection of the procedure area -During sterilization process A new pair of gloves must be put on, and hands must be sanitized in between When MUST you wash your hands surrounding a service? Before and after a procedure, when leaving the work area, when coming in contact with blood or potentially infectious materials, and when hands are visibly soiled Can you wash your hands with a bar of soap? This is prohibited. Can you use the same needle for multiple clients if you sanitize them in between? No. Needles must be single use on a single client and properly disposed of in an approved sharps container. A mobile facility is limited to no more than 15 consecutive days at one physical location. How many licenses can operate under an event facility license? No more than two licenses per booth. How large is a "booth" considered for an event facility license? 10 feet by 10 feet or 100 square feet. What is an event facility?
