Respect -ANSWER Do not interrupt a resident when he/she is eating, do not awaken a resident, inform resident the procedures that will occur, and answer residents questions abut the medication(s).
Refusal -ANSWER Never force a resident to take a medication, follow the facility's policy when a resident refuses.
