Curveballs are questions that are hard to practice- but they are there to show
how you communicate your logic and reasoning
The trick with these questions are to reword them into questions you want to
answer. For example, a question asking ‘If you had to describe yourself as a
biscuit, which biscuit would you choose?’, reworded would be ‘What type of
personality do you have?’
Data Interpretation:
Graph questions- whenever answering these questions, speak as if you are
describing the graph over the phone.
Go over each variable and use each peice of data and explain why they may be
like that
1. Say what you see- axis, titles, notations
2. Identify the trends and expalain what is happening
3. Reflection- what can we take away from this- what is happening
Always expect a follow up question when it comes to this station
Why do they ask for interpretations of graph- incredibly important as a doctor-
you will be constantly analysing things like blood results, patients medical
history as well as data of how a practice is running etc.
Picture Descriptions:
Asked to either describe a random image or a picture of an organ etc.
Random pictures- start light and general- give the overall idea. Then go left to
right, up and down describing general details. Then go into finer details, and
infer what you can from the picture.
