1. Weefsels zijn afhankelijk van de aanvoer van O2 en voedingsstoffen en de afvoer

• Rechts = kleine bloedsomloop – pulmonale circulatie – lage druk – uitwisseling O2
en CO2 in het longweefsel
• Links = grote bloedsomloop – systeemcirculatie – hoge druk – uitwisseling O2 en

Bloedvaten van en naar het hart:
1. Arterie (slagader) = efferent bloedvat -> weg van het hart, links
2. Vene (ader) = afferent bloedvat -> naar het hart toe, rechts
3. Capillairen (haarvaten) = kleinste bloedvaten, waar de uitwisseling van gassen
en voedingsstoffen plaatsvindt

Hart ligt tussen wervelzuil en sternum
(borstbeen). Aan de voorkant meer naar links.
Na 3 minuten is er sprake van irreversibele
hersenschade.
Mediastinum : ruimte in borstkas waar het hart
in ligt exlusief de longen.
Rechterlong is groter dan de linker. Rechts heeft 3 longkwabben links maar 2.
