Waarom psychologen moeten weten van seksualiteit?
Een mentale stoornis kan zorgen voor seksuele problemen of disfuncties. Daarnaast kunnen
seksuele klachten duiden op een mentale stoornis, zijn seksuele klachten niet alleen fysiek van
aard, kun je het behandelen, kan het voorkomen als resultaat van een behandeling en tot slot:
kan het zorgen voor een betere prognose, preventie en cliënt compliance als de cliënt tevreden
is over het seksleven.
