Macon's Bill No. 2 - ANSWER- Reopened trade with Britain and France , America would lend its support to the first nation to drop trade restrictions; France acted first and America halted all British imports. The United States declared war on Britain. Impressment - ANSWER- British practice of taking American sailors and forcing them into military service German blockade - ANSWER- Blockade of the area between Great-Britain and France by the use of German U-boats.
