Why do you want to become a CRNA?

"The mission of the Cedar Crest College graduate nursing program is to educate and
prepare nurse leaders who will advance evidence-based practice, education, and
healthcare delivery to improve health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities
within a global context."

I prefer a program that is focused on advancing the nursing profession education. I enjoy
how the upperclassmen help train and educate the lowerclassmen

I also spoke to the graduate admissions person 1:1 Naomy diaz-sieraa who spoke so highly
of the program annd I appreciated the time she spent in meeting with me

sao2 is the percentage of hemoglobin binding sites that are occupied with o2, measured in
percentage, 90-100%, measured by pulse oximeter. carbon monoxide also binds to
hemoglobin so it will give false reading

Erythropoietin (EPO) is produced in the kidneys and is the hormone responsible for
signaling bone marrow to produce red blood cells. CKD results in decreased production of
EPO.

Ever since I witnessed the care my father received from the CRNAs during his many
surgeries I wanted to play a part in that field. I thrive in areas that give me purpose,
espcially when that area is specialized. I do not enjoy generalized fields as it makes me feel
scattered. I love that CRNAs can work with many different types of patients and within
specialities but they themselves are their own speciality. I also enjoy being in the thick of an
escalating situation. I like intensity, again it gives me purpose to stay focused and driven.
