In our previous assignments, we took a close look at the facts mentioned above. We
debated whether it was fair for the wealthiest six South Africans to each earn an
average of R77 million per day during the first half of 2024. Some of us argued that this
was a result of their remarkable business skills, while others found it morally troubling.

Next, we turned our focus to the harsh reality of children working in terrible conditions in
DRC’s cobalt mines. While most of us agreed that this was an ethical problem, we also
