This portfolio will focus on a selected SME/SMME, detailing its products or services, location, and target market. We
will incorporate feedback from prior assignments, making necessary adjustments and improvements. The analysis will
examine key industries essential for business success in Africa, while also exploring the marketing environment that
shapes the SME’s strategic decisions for targeting African consumers. Additionally, we will identify challenges faced
by businesses operating in Africa and propose practical solutions for overcoming these obstacles. Actionable
recommendations will be provided to support the SME’s growth, offering strategies for improvement and expansion.
The portfolio aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the SME/SMME within the framework of the African
market, all while adhering to the specified page limits and marking guidelines. By the end of this analysis, we expect to
present practical insights that will aid the SME in achieving sustainable growth and long-term success in Africa.

, Section 1: Background of SME/SMME Provide a summary on the background of your chosen
SME/SMME. In the background, provide information on the products or services the SME/SMME
offers, where it is situated and who its current customers are (a maximum of one page discussion).
