1.) Participants are randomly assigned into groups



2.) This is analyzed via an ANOVA (analysis of variance), one-way between subjects design



Important Notes:



*The ANOVA is used instead of multiple t-test because these could increase Type I Error

, *If ANOVA shows a significant main effect of the IV, post-hoc tests need to be utilized to pinpoint specific
differences.

Procedure:
