therapy begins, then 2 wks following maintenance dose. Obtain baseline hepatic
function tests. Antimanic: Assess behavior, appearance, emotional status, response to
environment, speech pattern, thought content. Antimigraine: Question pt regarding
onset, location, duration of migraine, possible precipitating
symptoms.
