Tigers, Sheep and Monkeys in Tamilnadu Forests

Tiger Skin

Tiger and Panther skins were recently seized by Forest officials from the loafers in
forest areas.

Senthil (60) and Induja Parameshwari (45) were nabbed by forest officials when
they were selling tiger skin in Tharapuram Jailani’s house. The forest officials acted as
Tiger skin buyers and approached them. When negotiating the price the crime branch
pounced on them and arrested. The two miscreants revealed that Nachimuthu (43) in
Thiruppur, Raja (60) in Thippampatti, Murugesan (50) in Dharapuram, Kavin (46) in
Perundorai were all engaged in Tiger skin trade.

They had 4 Tiger skins, one Black Panther skin and one Panther skin.

where they are arrested.

They had illegal possession of tiger and panther skin varieties. All had the tiger
and panther heads with them. They demanded Rs.5 crores for those rare skin varieties.
