Describe a disappointment from your life? - ANSWERSGrowing up, I have always loved being in school
and learning. With this love, also came the pressure of constantly trying to get good grades. In my first
year of university, I encountered the most challenging class I have yet to ever take - chemistry. I received
my first midterm mark and my score was lower than I expected. I remember being so upset and I wanted
to give up on my medical school dream all together. Even though I was discouraged, I decided to get a
tutor and ask my professor for help which enabled me to bring my final mark in the class up. This taught
me that set backs in life are normal and it is how we finish, not how we start that matters!
Describe one time when your boss had to confront you about an issue with your work - ANSWERSPart of
my job as a drivers check-in administrator is to ensure that i am scanning the drivers payroll into a system
(according to date) so that it can be stored and referred to if necessary. During my first year on the job, I
had scanned about 20+ drivers payroll sheets into the wrong date. My boss was gracious enough to pull
me aside and correct me. Even though I was embarrassed, I am thankful that I got the correction
because my mistake not only affected my work but could have affected my co-workers work as well.
Since that correction, I have learned to be more cautious and have not made that mistake since.
