The purpose of this research study was to conduct a study in a corporation to see if
organizational wellness programs can have an effect on absenteeism and increase
workplace satisfaction between employees. The results of this study showed that if an
employee participated in a workplace wellness program absenteeism decreases and it
would increase an employees job satisfaction.

When looking at the citations of this research paper it seems as though there is a mix of
new and old citations. The older sources are still valid even though they are older and I
feel that since they are older they show more validity to the research paper that still
holds. I think there are a good amount of sources new and older.

I believe that this research study type of claim is casual. The research paper is simply
saying that participation in organizational wellness programs is directly linked with a

After reading this research study, I beleive the research method that was used is
qualitative. I think it is qualatative because the researchers used past and present
studies to show the correlation to participation in organizational programs like a
wellness program. This correlation showed that increased participation in a wellness
program showed decrease in absenteeism and increase in morale at the workplace.
