• DEPTHS OF BURNS:
o Superficial (1st degree) -dry, no vesicles, blanches
o Par=al thickness (2nd degree) -large moist vesicles; very painful.
o Full thickness (3rd degree) -dry with leathery eschar, charred vessels, vesicles
rare, li;le or no pain

o Stage 1: EMERGENT STAGE
