man was from the ground, so she must be created of man to be truly connected
together.
How is God's relationship with humanity as portrayed in Gen 2-3? How about
humanity's relationship to animals and each other? - Answer-God's relationship is that
of a parent. He created us and gifted us animals and allowed for the creation of
humanity for both woman and man.
Memorize the man's refrain: "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this
one shall be called woman, for out of man this one was taken." Gen 2:23; what is he
saying? - Answer-He's saying that the woman was made from him and that they are
one. That him and the woman are equals and that she is different from the animals. She
is a true companion. a "partner in battle"
What is the temptation for humanity? Explain the role of the woman, the man. - Answer-
The temptation was to become wise and have eyes open like God. The woman sees
the fruit and wants to eat it after hearing it makes one wise, she then gives it to the man
who neither questions it or refuses.
