Polymerase Chain Reaction (immunology)
Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a powerful technique used to amplify specific DNA sequences, making millions of copies from a small sample. In this reaction Denaturation, Annealing & Extension are repeated for 20-40 cycles, exponentially increasing the amount of target DNA. PCR is widely used in various applications, including cloning, gene expression analysis, genetic testing, and forensics.
