subterfuge approach - ANSWER✔✔-There are many different types of interrogation or approaches in

questioning a suspect in a case. In fact depending on the complexities of an interrogation the

interrogator could use all of the known approaches during the course of the interrogation. The overall

witness who put them at the scene when you really did not.

true about obtaining your license?

Although he should be commended for subduing the assailant he endangered other citizens by firing a

warning shot. Warning shots are strictly prohibited and can be disciplined by the Board and be charged

with unlawful discharge of a firearm among other crimes. - ANSWER✔✔-While on surveillance a PI

witnesses a man run up to a elderly woman and steal her purse. The PI jumps out of his car and begins

to pursue the assailant who has nothing to do with his surveillance. At this time he is acting as a private

citizen. The suspect is faster than the PI and is getting away. The PI pulls out his firearm and fire a

warning shot in the air and tells the assailant to stop or he'll shoot. The assailant stops and gives himself

up. The PI maintains cover on the assailant until the police arrive. They arrest both the assailant and the

True - ANSWER✔✔-A licensed private detective with a weapons permit is allowed to carry their

concealed firearm with a few exceptions throughout the state in the performance of their duties. Is that

an accurate statement?

The PI violated GA Criminal State Statute by impersonating a police officer. The Board's decision was

justified. - ANSWER✔✔-A PI was hired by a client to get a photo, by an means, of a man who works in an

office downtown. The client did not provide a reason; just that he needed a photo by any means

possible. There was one other stipulation. The client did not want the person to find who he was and

that he asked for a photo to be taken. The PI stopped the man on the street and flashed his credentials

and badge. The PI said he was a detective from the local police department and that the man fit the

description of a bank robber and that the detective needed his photo to show bank employees. The

man, knowing he was innocent and believing the PI was a detective, voluntarily allowed the PI to take his

photo. The PI took the photo and left; later giving the photo to his client. The Board found out about this

and fined the PI $500 and suspended his license for 1 year.

Interviewer talks too much - ANSWER✔✔-One of the biggest mistakes of an interviewer, whether

involved in an interview or interrogation is what?

As a Private Detective you are not authorized to enter someone's private residence unless invited in. If

you do, you have violated their IV Amendment rights to unreasonable search and seizure. - ANSWER✔✔-

As a licensed Private Detective, you are hired by the ABC Company to locate and apprehend a fugitive

who has an active arrest warrant for felony embezzlement. The company issued the complaint that was

the basis for the judge issuing the arrest warrant. You have a good lead that the suspect is held up in his

mother's home. You go there, walk in the residence and see that the suspect is sitting on the couch

watching tv and you take him into custody. Does a warrant for the fugitive allow you to enter a home of

another when you believe the fugitive is hiding inside?
