-Goniometers, electrogonimeters, Leighton flexometer, inclinometers, and tape

Shoulder Flexibility Test
Measure length of arm
-Acromion process to stick or bar grasped with pronated grip in hands
•Prone position (chin on floor or mat) extend arm over head as far as possible
-Measure distance from floor to bottom of stick or bar
Trunk Extension Test
Measure trunk length
-Sit against wall and place meter stick between legs
-Measure from floor to suprasternal notch (manubrium)
, •Lie prone with hands behind back, while partner holds person's feet
-Extend back as far as possible
Thomas Test
Participant lies supine
•Bring one leg in direction of chest
•Examiner observes opposite leg to determine if opposite hip flexor is tight if
contralateral leg comes off table
Straight-Leg Raise Test
Participant lies supine
•Examiner raises leg until participant states to stop
•An angle of 90 degree or more is acceptable
•Using meter stick: line up meter stick with medial malleolus, note position of distal end
of stick on contralateral leg
