The first physical examination is the general survey. Age, race, sex, orientation
to time, place, and people, general appearance, whether or not the patient is
distressed, and the examiner's assessment of the patient's cognitive and
emotional condition should all be included in the documentation.
Physical Examination #1: ANSWER A thorough examination is conducted of
the general look, skin, hands, fingernails, toenails, colour and pigmentation,
temperature, moisture, texture, and turgor.
1: Physical Examination: #3 - ANSWER The dorsum of the hand is
purposefully used to palpate both the upper and lower extremities.
Head and Face #2: ANSWER #1 Examine the entire head, scalp, and hair. Hair
should be divided into at least three sections to evaluate the scalp.
The whole head is purposefully palpated.
2: Face and Head: #2: ANSWER Both temporal arteries should be palpated.
2: Face and Head: #3: ANSWER Palpation of the frontal and maxillary sinuses

clenches their teeth, feel their masseter and temporal muscles.

feel their temporomandibular joint.

temporomandibular joint while they 1) open and close their jaw widely, 2)

on the face, comparing the sides. Keep your eyes closed. Maybe during the

patient's facial muscle movements for presence and symmetry (7 points)
Close your eyes, open them against resistance, frown, lift your brows, puff out
your cheeks, reveal your teeth, and smile.
3. Eyes: #1-ANSWER Visual Fields-Casal/temporal/superior/inferior peripheral
vision (CN II)

the right and left eyes (6 points)
