, Abstract
The study carried out a comprehensive examination on the aspect of employee turnover at the
UK retailing organisation The Body Shop. The study is seeking to provide a comprehensive
understanding on diverse impacts which are driven by the aspect of employee turnover on the
performance of the retailing organisation The Body Shop. The primary focus of the study is to
provide valuable insights into employee turnover and its impacts so that global retailing
organisations like The Body Shop can be encouraged to provide high priority on the aspects and
productive retention strategies can be adopted to navigate the issue and optimise organisational
performance.

The methods of qualitative and secondary research are being applied in the way of carrying out
the study and assessing diverse impacts on the performance of the retailing organisation. The
qualitative research method putted a notable contribution so that non-numerical data on the
employee turnover can be assessed and valuable insights can be ensured on diverse factors which
are driving the high employee turnover issue at the retailing organisation The Body Shop. In
addition, the method of secondary research contributed so that diverse existed studies and
scholars on employee turnover and their impacts can be assessed in an organised way. Due to the
support of the secondary research evident, reliable, and authentic data obtained on employee
turnover and its impacts. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding is being promoted on the
way organisational team productivity, employee morale, employee performance, organisational
revenue, customer satisfaction, and organisational brand of The Body Shop are being negatively
impacted by employee turnover. Additionally, the secondary data helped to determine that the
job stress is being optimised, employee burnout is being fostered, and efficiency in the task of
the workers is being reduced for the influence of employee turnover. However, productive
actionable strategies are being offered by the research findings so that retention can be improved,
overall organisational performance can be enhanced, and sustainable growth can be supported
with the organisation in a productive way. Effective retention strategies, like employee
motivation, engagement, incentives, flexible working hours, career advancement opportunities,
and others are being recommended by the study to navigate the issue of The Body Shop and to
develop a productive and inclusive workforce.
