A descriptive paragraph is a paragraph in which you describe a person, event, or a place. To describe
something, you need to use many adjectives in order to let the reader imagine clearly the thing.

II. Describing a person:
When we describe a person, we should talk about:
1. Personal information:
 name (Sara, Ali, Peter, Mark, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Taylor, Miss. Baker,..)
 relationship (friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancé, fiancée, mother, father, best actor…)
 age (teenager, young, adult, middle aged, in his twenties, thirties.…)
 occupation ( student, doctor, teacher, policeman, journalist …etc)
2. Physical appearance:
 height (short, tall, medium, average height….)
 weight (slim, fat, skinny, well–built …..)
 face (round, oval, freckled, wrinkled....)
 eyes (big, small, black. blue….)
 hair (short, long, black, straight, wavy, curly.…)
 clothes (formal, casual, stylish, ….)
3. Personality:
 personal qualities (talented, smart, vigorous, brainy, active, enthusiastic, funny, smart ….)

The person that I like most is Mohammad. He is my best friend. I met him at
school when we were middle school students. From that time on, he has been my
favorite and admirable person. Mohammad is a university student now. He is
twenty-two years old. He is tall and well-built. His face is oval and his eyes are
brown. His hair is black. He usually wears casual clothes. He is a smart and talented
person as he plays different musical instruments. Mohammad is an honest and polite
person that I consider as my best friend.
