Step 1: Reflection - ANS -the most important and most difficult step
- ask yourself: what are my strengths, weaknesses, and interests? What do I enjoy most? What
are my short and long term professional and personal goals?

Step 2: Assessment - ANS - Based on your short and long term goals, what are your
learning needs?

- After these needs are identified, prioritize them
- This will help you to identify any coursework or work experience that will help you get accepted
into the internship of your choice
Step 3: Planning - ANS - What is needed to accomplish your learning needs? Each need
should be associated with at least one goal.
Step 4: Implementation - ANS - Put the plan into motion
- Document completed work and "work in progress"
