Acuity Correct Answer: A patient's level of sickness.
competence Correct Answer: The quality or state of being
competent; having requisite or adequate ability.
Controlled act Correct Answer: Activities that only members of
certain professions are authorized to perform. These activities
refer to restricted actions that would be considered to be
potentially harmful if performed by anyone other than a qualified
professional. They are called controlled acts in Ontario, and
reserved acts in British Columbia.
