B2 – Ogen en visusAnatomie en fysiologie van het oog
Bulbus oculi (oogbol)
Bestaat uit drie lagen:
Tunica fibrosa bestaat uit de sclera en de cornea. De scheiding tussen cornea en sclera heet de
limbus.
Tunica vasculosa bestaat uit de uvea, bestaande uit de iris, corpus ciliare (straalvormig lichaam) en
choroidea (vaatvlies). Het corpus ciliare zorgt met zonula ciliaris voor het accommoderen van de
lens.
,Tunica interna bestaat uit de retina (het netvlies). Macula is de gele vlek, het midden hiervan wordt
de fovea genoemd. De papil wordt ook wel blinde vlek genoemd, het is de plek waar bloedvaten in
het netvlies samenkomen. De papil bestaat een holte (cup), waarin geen zenuwvezels lopen en een
rand (rim) met vele zenuwvezels, afkomstig van het gehele netvlies. Deze zenuwvezels gaan door de
oogzenuw naar de hersenen toe.
Segmenten van het oog
Er zijn drie oogkamers: voorste oogkamer, achterste oogkamer en glasvochtruimte. De voorste en
achterste oogkamer zijn beiden gevuld met kamerwater. Dit wordt continue geproduceerd door het
corpus ciliare en zorgt voor de aanvoer van zuurstof en voedingsstoffen. Kamerwater wordt
afgevoerd via de kamerhoek, dit is de hoek tussen het hoornvlies en de iris.

De glasvochtruimte is gevuld met corpus vitreum (glasvocht)
Lens
Anatomie:
De lens bestaat voornamelijk uit type iv collageen en glycosaminoglycanen.
Bolling ontstaat bij aanspanning van de musculus ciliaris, waardoor het licht sterker breekt. De
lensbandjes heten de zonulae van Zinn.
Retina
De retina is een directe uitloper van de n. opticus en wordt daarom gerekend tot het CZS. Het is
daarmee het enige stukje van het CZS dat aan de buitenkant waarneembaar is.
