, Our Company
The name of our company is SocialYou, and will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It’s function will be to promote services or products for other companies. It will serve big or small
companies who think it’s necessary for their product to be promoted and gain popularity through social
media. We will promote the services or products with campaigns and digital contents. With less than 50
people we will have a small company. All with their own specialization, for example social advertising,
community management or campaigns. Our company will work together as a team. What we don’t want, is
a culture where every employee competes with one another. We are a company that emphasizes
collaboration and teamwork. We will have a few managers to take some lead, and to see if everything is
going right. Our company will be flush with cash, so we will be more flexible to grow and expand our
business or endure an economic downturn. We will have a few competitors, and we will try to compete
them to do our best, and to be creative.

Pest analysis of Denmark

Political aspects
- Parliamentary monarchy
- Against royal absolutism which infringed the freedom of the citizens in the 18th century.
- All men are born free and equal and are therefore entitled to take part in elections in the legislative
assemblies at various levels
- The administration of the State is based on a voluntary agreement between the constitutional
monarchy and the citizens of the country. The citizens have no direct influence on the
administration of the State but exert their influence indirectly by voting.

Economic aspects
- Denmark is experiencing a modest economic expansion
- The economy grew by 1.6% in 2015 and an estimated 1.3% in 2016. The expansion is expected to
continue at similar rates in 2017 and 2018.
- Open-market policies sustain flexibility, competitiveness, and large trade and investment flows, and
the transparent and efficient regulatory and legal environment encourages robust entrepreneurial
activity.

Socio-cultural aspects
- The tendency to do things the right way and expect others to do the same.
- Danes loath public flaunting of wealth and will consider it a display of poor manners if you are
demonstrating your success too openly, either verbally or through your appearance and behaviour.
- Danish people are very empathetic and if they really like you they will accept you for what you are

Technological aspects
- The use of mobile phones and the Internet is more widespread in Scandinavia than anywhere else
in Europe and is on a par with the US.
- Whether it comes to private persons or companies, the IT infrastructure of Denmark belongs to the
world’s best.
- Denmark has the highest rate of Internet penetration, mobile phone penetration and e-business
implementation in Europe, together with the highest IT spending level per capita in the world.

Our stakeholders will be:
- Clients: In return for our services, the clients eventually pay us, which gives us revenue.
- Employees: Their hard work is invaluable for our success.
- Competitors: They keep us motivated to work hard, and to keep innovative.
- Media: Our workfield.
- Government: They are the one who implement all the regulations, like taxes etc.
