Animals have become so normal in the world and many people are so attached it's
difficult for them to be away from their animals for some time. In additional to animals
becoming normal so has travel. Many people are lying and doing whatever It takes in order to get
their pets on the plane to have them travel with you. Although airlines do offer programs for
service and emotional support animals, people are purchasing false paperwork from websites to
get their animals on the plane freely which isn't a place for them. The Air Emotional and service
animals should have certain rules in place becausethere aren't many accommodations for them,
they typically feel they are put in a dangerous place, andanimals cannot just sit for long periods
of time. .
Animals are going to be animals regardless of training or not, however training does offer
a certain level of protection for the animal and the people around. A plane is not equipped with
spaces for animals. I am not sure how a plane could make space due to certain limitations. Many
airlines are not concerned with animals, but they are worried about putting actual people on the
plane. If they add space for animals they would have to reduce to amount of bodies on the
aircraft which is turn is going to reduce profits. There is no way to get a playground or anywhere
for the animals to relieve themselves for sanitation reasons. "Airlines qualify animals into three
categories, check bagged, carry-on, or cargo" (Lamb)
I think to myself just like humans’ animals need to stretch their legs also. Animals have
joints just line humans and when they sit for a very long time they need to be able to get the
blood flowing. I ask you to have you ever had to sit in one tight space for a long period of time
without having an ability to use the restroom. This is what a dog goes through when they have a
4-hour flight from Atlanta to Los Angles. This is no way for an animal to be treated. However, I
