October 18th, he kidnapped and brutally murdered Uma Opee. The defense will try to collaborate that
the Stu Dents was insane at the time of the crime. But Stu Dents is not insane, he is just a cold-blooded
murderer.
Under the Section 187-a of the penal code, is explained as, the unlawful killing of another
human, or fetus, with extreme hate premeditated. In this case State V. Stu Dents, the defendant is
being charged with the murder of Uma Opee, his ex-girlfriend. The victim had been stabbed thirteen
times and bled to death on the scene on October 18th around 2345 per coroner determined time.
Police recovered Stu Dents, a journal in which he wrote about purchasing rope, rags, and a
sharp hunting knife “to fulfill his destiny.” The last writing in the journal was from the day before he
murdered Uma Opee. Stu Dents fully laid out his plan how he was going to do it, Stu Dents showed
the premeditation or aforethought of his actions. Dents believed that it was his “Destiny” his desire
to cause pain/harm to Uma Opee and kill her.
Uma Opee struggled to fight off her attacker and scratched him many times, the DNA under
the victim’s fingernails matched the DNA, the sample was provided by the defendant, Stu Dents. The
defendant was also in possession of a ring that belongs to the victim and was seen wearing the day
before her missing. This evidence shows the defendant, and the Uma Opee were involved in a
struggle the evening she was murdered. The defendant’s journal also shows the plan of his
intentions and planning of the Uma Opee’s murder.
To prove kidnapping will not be an easy way to establish a piece of evidence in this case
because Mr. Dent kidnapped Uma Opee. To prove kidnapping the prosecution must prove that Mr.
Dent intentionally and knowingly abducted the victim per Texas Penal Code Section 20.03. The
victim’s body was found behind the abandoned building clog and bounded but this alone does not
prove the kidnapping of Uma Opee. The victim had bruises on her body and DNA under her nails
show that she had struggled, she also had cloth shoved in her mouth from making noise. There was
