Tarieven
= Belasting geheven op import (of export)
1. Specifieke tarieven
- Vast tarief voor iedere eenheid ve geïmporteerd goed
2. Ad valorem tarieven
- Percentage van de waarde ve geïmporteerd goed
Impact van tarieven
- Verhoogt inkomsten voor OH

= quotum opgelegd door exporterend land, op verzoek van OH van importerend land
- Kan protectionistische maatregelen in een land stoppen
Quota rent
= extra winsten die producten maken als aanbod wordt beperkt door importquotum
