We see that today’s world that gender-based violence (GBV) is a serious problem
worldwide, involving various forms of violence directed at individuals because of their
gender. Some people argue that men are the main perpetrators of GBV, pointing to
societal norms and power imbalances. However, my essay overlooks the complexity
