, What is the short story about?
• Thabo is sad because he is broke.
• Thabo’s neighbour tells Thabo’s best friend, Pragan, that is he going
on holiday but he has a problem: he has nobody to look after his pets.
• Pragan suggests that Thabo looks after the pets. And so, it begins…
• Thabo starts advertising and pet-sits for people
• But it has it’s challenges:
1. Take animals for walks
2. Give animals food
3. someone broke in at one of the houses.
4. Electricity causes the gate not to open and the pets are stuck inside
• Thabo then makes a plan: he gets a ladder ➔ brakes into the house
➔ rescues the animals.
