1. There is a large number of words in Spanish that is similar to English words 1. Provide or present English meaning to words that are similar in Spanish ,
with different meanings. that students have correct meaning for word in English.
2. Spanish speakers have pronunciation difficulties as there is differences 2. If there is any pronunciation difficulties, Teacher have to drill correct
between the languages’ sound systems. For example trouble distinguishing pronunciation to students, that they can provide correct pronunciation in
between words like beat and bit. future.
3. Students have different motivations for learning English. 3. Pair the students with similar motivations together as it can bond a
friendship and they can support each other.
