future tenses
Future Simple
Future simple is used...
– To predict a future event: It will rain tomorrow.
– To express a spontaneous decision: I will pay for the tickets by credit card.
– To express wilingness (to do something): He will carry your bag / The baby won't eat his
soup.
– In a question form (shall) to formulate a suggestion, request advice or instructions:
Shall we go to the cinema tonight? / What shall I tell the boss about his money?
– With 'you' to give orders or formulate invitations: You will do exactly as I say / Will you
marry me?

FUTURE CONTINUOUS
Future continuous is used to:
– Project ourselves into the future: This time next week I will be sunbathing in Bali
– Make predictions or assumptions about future events: He'll be coming to the meeting, I
expect.
– Ask politely for information about the future: Will Jim be coming with us?
– Refer to events of a certain duration that will unfold in the future: When he is in
Australia he will be staying with friends.
– Actions that are already happening and will continue into the future: In an hour I'll still
be ironing my clothes

FUTURE PERFECT
Future perfect is used to:
– Talk about something that will be completed before specific time in the future: The

FUTURE PERFECT continuous
Future perfect continuous is used to:
– Project ourselves into the future and look back: I will have been waiting here for six hours
by six o'clock.
– Unfinished events or actions situated between the present and a future time: Next
year, I will have been learning English for 20 years.
