50 Marks
This paper consists of six (6) pages.
Instructions:
1. The aim of this portfolio is to test your knowledge according to the learning outcomes of this
module.
2. You need to answer all the questions.
3. Download the portfolio from myModules and save your answer file as
“MNO2606_S1_Assessment_3_Studentnumber_Surname”
4. Portfolios should be typed in Arial, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
5. Although we prefer that you type your assignment, you may submit a handwritten assignment
by printing this document, completing it by hand, scanning it, and uploading it onto
myModules. Please write legibly.
6. In-text citations and a list of references are compulsory, even if you use the study guide and
prescribed textbook. Each additional source that you consult should also be referenced.
7. Referencing should be according to the Harvard referencing method. An example of the
Harvard referencing method is included in the Additional Resources on myModules.
8. Do not copy directly from any source (including your study guide) as Unisa’s plagiarism policy
is applicable to this portfolio. Plagiarism will not be allowed and may result in disciplinary
action.
9. Take note of the mark allocation for each question. This will give you an indication of the
number of facts that you should discuss. Make sure that questions and sub-questions are
clearly numbered. You don’t need to copy the exam questions. Complete the declaration and
start your portfolio by numbering each question.

10. The assessment will not be returned to you and the assignments department will inform you
of your results.
11. Please ensure that you submit a declaration.

Files that markers cannot open, including image uploaded files, will be awarded a zero.
13. Submit your answers in one PDF or Word document by using the Assessment tool on
myModules.
14. Only online assessments will be accepted.

list of references (referencing of all sources consulted)
self-assessment checklist (copy/retype/rewrite and complete)

STEP 4: Ensure that you complete all the tasks in every section
Complete the checklist at the end of the portfolio before you convert the document to a PDF and
submit your portfolio.
STEP 5: Submit your portfolio
You need to submit your answer file online via myUnisa.
