Coming Policy
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you as the representative of the
junior staff at Zamokuhle Graduate Apparel, with a pressing matter that we
believe requires the intervention of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation,
and Arbitration (CCMA).
Recently, a conflict has arisen between the junior staff and the management at
our organization regarding the implementation of a new late-coming policy.

pay if we are late by over 5 minutes. Since the announcement of this new
policy, the staff has become deeply disheartened, which has adversely
affected morale and, consequently, the quality of service we provide to clients,
including the University of South Africa (UNISA).
The organizational culture at Zamokuhle Graduate Apparel has, for a
considerable time, lacked an official structure for work times. This has meant
that junior staff members often work late into the evenings without receiving
overtime pay. Given the absence of clear guidelines, this flexible approach to
