Question 1.1. (15 marks)
Write a paragraph in which you identify the characteristics of cumulative tales
in TEXT A and discuss the educational benefits of these characteristics
specifically for seven-yearolds who are learning to read. In your answer,
explain what stories appeal to this age group and why a cumulative tale such
as TEXT A is specifically appropriate for teaching them to read, commenting
on the plot, the level of difficulty, and the length of the story. You will receive a
mark out of 4 for language.
